Race report
Ruth Edwards, Ane Santesteban, Liane Lippert, and Erica Magnaldi form the breakaway. And it starts to look very good when they tackle the final climb with a 2 minutes lead over the remnants of the peloton.

Esteban can’t keep up with the pace early on the climb, while the other three remain together all the way to the finish line. Lippert outsprints Edwards, with Magnaldi finishing third.

Elisa Longo Borghini wins the sprint from the chasing group and retains the lead in the general classification.
