Eneco Tour 2014 Route Stage 7: Riemst (B) – Sittard (NL)
Sunday, August 17 - Last two editions of the Eneco Tour finished at the Muur van Geraardsbergen, this year sees the grande finale in the center of Sittard. After cropped versions of the Tour of Flanders and Liege-Bastogne-Liege in previous stages, the closing stage resembles Amstel Gold Race. It's a 183.4 kilometre ride.

Eneco Tour 2014 Route Stage 7: Riemst - Sittard
The penultimate stage of the 2013 Eneco Tour departed from Riemst and headed to Aywaille/La Redoute. This time around riders are off to the Netherlands. Arrival town Sittard-Geleen hosted the 2013 Eneco Tour during a hilly 13.5-kilometre individual time trial - won by Sylvain Chavanel.
After a local loop in Riemst the bunch is back again at the start and then the riders head to the hills in the south of the Netherlands. A row of famous Amstel Gold Race climbs lay waiting, amongst them Camerig, Eyserbosweg, Fromberg and Gulperberg. Yes they are short, but sure they are steep (17.1%).
Thrice a local circuit of a little over 20 kilometres comprises the finale, featuring climbs like Kollenberg, Schatsberg and Windraak. The finish is 3.8 kilometres after the last one in the center of Sittard-Geleen.
