Race report
Coralie Demay, Catalina Soto, Iurani Blanco and Andrea Casagranda jump off the front after almost 20 kilometres. The quartet opens up a lead of more than 1 minute.
Demay and Blanco leave the others behind when the gap has been halved with 57 kilometres remaining. Some 20 kilometres later the two are reeled in themselves.
Femke Markus wins the intermediate sprint to gain a time bonus of 6 seconds. Her sister Riejanne takes 4 seconds. Chloé Dygert 2.
The peloton splits in the climb inside the last 20 kilometres, but most riders regain contact at the top.
Chloé Dygert strikes inside the last kilometre before Marianne Vos shuts down the gap with Charlotte Kool in her wheel. She overhauls her compatriot in the dying metres to take the win. Vos is the new leader on GC.
