UAE Tour 2024: The Route
The first 50 kilometres of the 1st stage are flat, the other 90 kilometres features numerous short ramps before the home straight runs uphill at 5.6%.
Stage 2 is an individual time trial on a flat and fast course of 12.1 kilometres.
The first of two summit finishes happens on the third day of action. Stage 3 is flat until Jebel Jais climbs for 21.1 kilometres at an average gradient of 5.4%.
The 4th stage starts and finishes in Dubai City. Flat roads, sprint finish next to certain.
Stage 5 crosses the peninsula from east to west and has gotten bunch sprint written all over it as well.
Same goes for stage 6, which finishes at Abu Dhabi Breakwater, where Tim Merlier took the spoils last year.
The final stage is a regular on the UAE Tour. The race starts in Al Ain and finishes at Jebel Hafeet after a 10.8 kilometres long toil at à 6.6%.
