Giro Rosa 2017: Lotta Lepistö sprints to victory, Van der Breggen still in pink

The 6th stage of the Giro Rosa is a criterium in Roseto degli Abruzzi. Four laps are played out in hot conditions. The race comes down to a bunch sprint with Lotta Lepistö fastest. Race report
With one lap remaining Soraya Paladin, Hannah Barnes and Sofia Bertizzolo are the first riders to force a proper gap. Maximum lead of 44 seconds before it comes down and evaporates with 13 kms remaining.

The race comes down to a group sprint with Lotta Lepistö outperforming Coryn Rivera and Giorgio Bronzini. Anna van der Breggen comes in eight, metres ahead of a split in the group, so she puts 3 seconds into Borghini and Van Vleuten.
