Giro 2024: Route and stages

Tadej Pogacar won the 107th edition of the Giro d'Italia. The Slovenian had been dominating the race since day two, and he highlighted his outstanding performance with six stage wins. Daniel Felipe Martínez and Geraint Thomas rounded out the podium after a 3,408-kilometre race with a total elevation gain of 44,650 metres.

The Route

The 2024 Giro d'Italia was a 3 weeks long race of attrition, which concluded on Sunday the 26th of May in Rome. The race totalled 3,408 kilometres and took in an altitude gain of 44,650 metres, while most of the uphill hardship took place in the final week of action.

Saturday 4 May - The Giro d'Italia opens with a 140 kilometres long race featuring five climbs. Both start and finish are in Turin, while the finale is a technical downhill from the short and sharp San Vito climb.
