Giro 2015: Stage 1 Favourites - Orica GreenEdge again?

In recent years the TTT was a Omega Pharma-QuickStep (now Etixx-QuickStep) and Orica GreenEdge battle. Since taking the World Championships in Ponferrada BMC is a new major contender. They crushed the competition and bested Orica and Omega Pharma.

That said, it all boils down to the selected riders. Orica looks strong with Hepburn, Tuft and Durbridge in the line-up.

The results of the opening team time trial in the 2014 Giro were: 1. Orica, 2. Omega Pharma, 3. BMC.

In recent Tour de Romandie Sky bested Orica with 0.63 seconds, albeit with a totally different squad.
