Vuelta 2021 Favourites stage 8: Sprint on Mediterranean coast

fotobureau Cor VosThe route of the 8th stage is tailor-made for a bunch sprint. Some minor climbs after 100 kilometres before the last 40 kilometres are as good as flat.

Effectually, strong winds are the only thing that could thwart a bunch sprint from happening. Or a crash. But let's hope everyone stays on his bike and we'll see a compelling sprint finish.

Philipsen won two sprints until now, Jakobsen took the other one.
