Vuelta 2021: Favourites
Primoz Roglic was the big winner on the 2021 Vuelta a España. The Slovene claimed the overall classification, plus four stages. Fabio Jakobsen and Magnus Cort both took three wins, while Michael Storer and Jasper Philipsen took two.

Effectually, the route of La Vuelta's 3rd stage is an undulating run-up to the uphill finale. The climb to the top of the Picón Blanco is 7.8 kilometres long and slopes at 9.3%.
