Tour of the Alps 2019

Tour of the Alps 2019Edition 43 of the Tour of the Alps sets off on Monday 22 April to finish on Friday 26 April. In 2017, the five-day stage race took over the baton and the forty years of tradition from the Giro del Trentino. The 2019 route is played out in the mountainous borders of Italy and Austria and takes in almost 14,000 vertical Alps. (Slideshow route/profile)

Thibaut Pinot won the 2018 Tour of the Alps ahead of Domenico Pozzovivo and Miguel Ángel López. Chris Froome finished in fourth.
