Race results
Brammeier and Maison are the first attack, while Jaun and Van der Lijke bridge the gap. The four race to a maximum lead at almost 4 minutes.

Jaun is the first to be dropped, while the other riders are reeled in with 4 kms to go.

The finale is maked by a sharp turn with 150 metres left. Placing is all important. Richeze leads out the sprint for Gaviria and Sagan is third. A smart Gaviria doesn't press on, giving his lead-out man the chance to shine, as Sagan comes too late.
