Race report
After 14 kms Silvan Dillier gets clear and he is accompanied by Bystom, Rast, Samoilau, Pires, Tolhoek, Duijn and Paris-Roubaix winner Mathew Hayman. They race to a gap at over 5 minutes. In the last 40 kms Rast, Samoilau and Pires are dropped.
When the gain is down to under 1 minute Tolhoek is dropped while Albasini bridges over.
When hitting the last climb, Schöneberg, the gap is half a minute. Dillier and Albasini are the first to crest, while Sagan leaves the peloton to join the two leaders in the drop.
Sagan pushes so hard the other two can barely hold his wheel, let alone work along with him. No sweat. The World Chmpion does it on his won and he sprints to victory, 3 seconds ahead of the chasing peloton.
