Tour de Romandie 2019: Küng solos to victory, Roglic still leader
Stefan Küng solos to the win in the rain-soaked 2nd stage with the intermediate climb up the Col du Mollendruz as the biggest obstacle. He leaves his breakaway companions behind inside the last 20 kilometres, while Primoz Roglic retains the lead jersey. (Slideshow route/profile)

Race report
Geminas Bagdonas, Stefan Küng, Nathan Brown, Frederik Backaert, Claudio Imhof and Jorge Arcas jump clear inside the first 5 kilometres. The six carve out a gap of almost 5 minutes before the peloton takes the reins.
Küng drops his last companions, Backaert and Bagdonas, with 18 kilometres remaining. The home-rider widens his lead to 1.30 minutes before he reaches the line 1 minute ahead of the peloton. Sam Bennet wins the bunch sprint ahead of Sonny Colbrelli.
