Race report
It's proving quite a successful race for the home riders. Today saw Martin Kohler and Pirmin Lang break away, building up a gap that stretched to 13 minutes.
While chasing the duo over hilly terrain, the pace proved too much for German sprinter Kittel who was dropped by the bunch. What was left of the peloton managed to catch the escapees with 3 kilometres remaining.
It wasn't the end of the Swiss party for the day though as Albasini sprinted to his second stage win, taking the leaders jersey as well with the bonus seconds gained.
