Tour de Femmes 2025 Route + results stage 3: La Gacilly - Angers

Monday, 28 July – The 3rd stage of the Tour de France Femmes takes the riders across flat to gently rolling terrain from La Gacilly to Angers. The distance is 163.5 kilometres, with just over 1,000 metres of elevation gain. A bunch sprint is the most likely outcome.

The Tour de Femmes leaves Brittany on the third day. After the start in the picturesque town of La Gacilly, the riders head east. The Côte de Richardière, after 34 kilometres, is the only real challenge on the day, although challenge may be too strong a word. It's a 1.7-kilometre climb at 4.7%.

Heading towards the finish line on Boulevard Georges Clemenceau in Angers, the race passes through Châteaubriant on virtually flat roads. So, the pure sprinters are expected to have their first chance to shine in this year’s Tour.

In last year's Tour de France Femmes, the sprinters had two opportunities. And on both occasions, it was Charlotte Kool who took the win.
