Tour de France Femmes 2023

Demi Vollering won the 2nd edition of the Tour de France Femmes, while Kasia Niewiadoma and Lotte Kopecky rounded out the final podium. The race, which was played out in the south of France, started on Sunday 23 July 2023 and finished on Sunday the 30th.

Reusser wins ITT, Vollering takes final GC
Marlen Reusser storms to victory in the ITT on the final day of the Tour de France Femmes, while Demi Vollering seals the GC victory. Lotte Kopecky and Kasia Niewiadoma finish on equal time in second and third.

The ITT from Pau to Pau is important in terms of the final podium and, obviously, for the stage win. Cyclingstage.com brings you the most important start times of stage 8.
Vollering solos into yellow on Tourmalet
Demi Vollering strikes on the Col du Tourmalet. She gobbles up attacker Kasia Niewiadoma and solos to victory. The Dutch star moves into the maillot jaune, while Kasia Niewiadoma and Annemiek van Vleuten finish in second and third, both on the stage and on GC.
Norsgaard wins from the breakaway, Kopecky still leader
Agnieszka Skalniak-Sojka, Sandra Alonso and Emma Norsgaard are on the attack during the entire stage. The peloton controls the break, but miscalculates in the finale. Norsgaard opens the sprint in the last 500 metes and holds off the charging pack by 1 second. Lotte Kopecky stays in yellow.
Bauernfeind solos to victory, Kopecky still in yellow
Ricarda Bauernfeind attacks from a decimated peloton with roughly 40 kilometres remaining. The young German rider solos to victory, while Marlen Reusser outsprints Liane Lippert for second place. Lotte Kopecky stays in yellow.
