Tour de France 2017 Favourites stage 7: Sprinters in Nuits-Saint-Georges
At 213, kilometres, stage 7 of the Tour de France is played out on flat to rolling roads. The route should fancy fast men. (Slideshow route/profile)
The first 80 kilometres of the 7th stage are flat before a rolling section of some 80 kilometres runs to the flat last hour. The peloton should have no problem to control the break away and reel them in before Nuits-Saint-Georges. So a bunch sprint is the most likely outcome.
In the 2nd stage and 6th stage Marcel Kittel outsprinted Arnaud Démare and André Greipel, while stage 4, was won by Arnaud Démare ahead of Kristoff and Greipel.
