Tour Colombia 2020 Route stage 4: Paipa – Santa Rosa de Viterbo
For the third consecutive day the Tour Colombia sets off from Paipa. A flat opening continues onto more hilly terrain after some 25 kilometres. The riders tackle both the Alto del Moral and the Alto Tierra Negra twice in the next 75 kilometres, before the route leaves Tunja to travel towards Cómbita. And on it goes, on fairly flat roads and in northeasterly direction to Duitama.
The Tour Colombia moves through Duitama - finish place of stage 2 - and starts to climb for 5 kilometres. The slope hovers around 4% before the last 1.5 kilometres of the race continue false flat into Santa Rosa de Viterbo.
The first three riders on the line gain time bonuses of 10, 6 and 4 seconds, while three intermediate sprints (at kilometre 36, 106 and 156) come with 3, 2 and 1 seconds each
