Tirreno-Adriatico 2015
The 2015 edition of the Tirreno-Adriatico saw the 50th winner of the race. Nairo Quintana was the first Colombian victor in the 'Race of the Two Seas'. Finishing third, Rigoberto Uran was the second Colombian on the podium. Dutchman Bauke Mollema took second place in between the compatriots.

Cancellara wins ITT, Quintana takes overall

Peter Sagan sprints to rainy victory
Stage 6 of the Tirreno goes in 210 rainy kilometres to Porto Sant'Elpidio, on the Adriatic coast. The conditions are that poor a lot of sprinters take it slow and are dropped from the bunch at the only climb halfway. But not Peter Sagan. In Porto Sant'Elpidio he pops out of the drabness of the day and sprints to a mighty victory. Quintana retains the overall lead.Read more »
Quintana takes Queen Stage and GC lead
The Queen Stage of the 50th edition of the Tirreno-Adriatico leads the riders in 197 kilometres to the snow-covered Monte Terminillo. It's an heroic performance by Nairo Quintana soloing to victory in the last 5 kilometres. Bauke Mollema tries to hook up and finishes second. That's their positions in the overall now.Read more »
Wout Poels takes stage and overall lead
Stage 4 is a monster race of 218 kilometres to Castelraimondo. The stage serves a nerves shattering finale with Wout Poels taking the spoils.Read more »
Greg Van Avermaet wins stage and takes GC lead
Stage 3 in the Tirreno-Adriatico is mostly flat. The last two riders of a break of five are reeled in with 20 kilometres left. All teams with a strong puncheur are eyeing up the stage win on the uphill arrivall in medieval Arezzo, but BMC is strongest. They work brilliantly for Van Avermaet, who performs just as brilliant. Taking the stage win he grabs the leader's jersey in doing so.Read more »
