Paris-Nice 2025 Route stage 6: Saint-Julien-en-Saint-Alban - Berre l’Étang

Paris-Nice 2025Friday, 14 March - Stage 6 offers the fast men their final chance to shine in this edition of Paris-Nice. The 209.8-kilometre route features just 1,400 metres of elevation gain, and all the climbing happens far from the finish line.

In 2022, Filippo Ganna won the prologue of the Tour de la Provence in Berre l’Étang. This time, it’s almost certain a sprinter will take the win in the southern French town. Serious climbs are nowhere to be found.

There are three opportunities to pick up KOM points along the way. The Côte de Pouzilhac is a 1.8-kilometre climb at 5%, with the summit coming after 88.3 kilometres. Then there’s the Côte des Baux-de-Provence, which rises for 2.5 kilometres at 5.1%, crested after 145.1 kilometres. Finally, the Côte de Mouriès tops out about 50 kilometres from the finish. It’s a modest climb of 1.2 kilometres at 5%.

If you stretch your imagination, you could count the 950 metres before the intermediate sprint in Lançon-Provence as a climb too. It goes up at 5.8% and comes 19 kilometres from the finish.

The first three riders on the line gain time bonuses of 10, 6 and 4 seconds, while the intermediate sprint offers 6, 4 and 2 seconds.
