Race report
Pierre Latour attacks from the gun. Alexis Gougeard, Sandy Dujardin, Dries De Bondt, Mathias Norsgaard and Mathijs Paaschens track him down, and the six open up a gap of over 2 minutes.
Victor Campenaerts jump across to the breakway when the gap has fallen below 1 minute. With eight the gap widens to over 1 minute, but the remains of the lead group are caught with almost 10 kilometres to go.
Despite some action with among others Remco Evenepoel, the race boils down to a sprint in the streets of Sisteron. Olav Kooij wins a bike length ahead of Mads Pedersen and Pascal Ackermann, while Luke Plapp finishes safely in the bunch to stay at the helm of the GC.
