Race report
The peloton takes it easy and remains bunched for 130 kilometres before a group with only Belgians tries to break clear. Oliver Naesen, Philippe Gilbert, Yves Lampaert, Louis Vervaeke, Dries De Bondt, Victor Campenaerts, Jasper Stuyven, Edward Theuns, Thomas De Gendt, Tim Declercq and Stan De Wulf are not given any leash.

Ion Izagirre gains 3 bonus seconds en route, Max Schachmann takes 4.

In the ensuing sprint Sam Bennett is a class of his own, while Nacer Bouhanni and Pascal Ackermann round out the podium.

The GC remains largely unchanged, although Schachmann moves 4 seconds closer to leader Roglic.
