Paris-Nice 2015
March 8th through March 15th edition 73 of Paris-Nice was held. The stage race goes back to 1933 and the 2015 edition was exciting to the end. Tony Gallopin took a spectacular win in stage 6 and started the last day in the yellow jersey. But Richie Porte overhauled the Frenchman in the uphill ITT to Col d'Eze on the last day of action. The Tasmanian won Paris-Nice 2015 ahead of Michal Kwiatkowski and Simon Spilak third.

All eyes are on Richie Porte and leader Tony Gallopin during the last 9.6 kilometres of Paris-Nice 2015. In the uphill ITT to Col d'Eze the Tasmanian blows his competion away and wins the Race to the Sun. Spilak offers a good performance and finishes second. Kwiatkowski and Spilak are second and third in the overall.Read more »
Gallopin wins incredible stage
All eyes were in the mountain stage Vence-Nice on Kwiatkowski, Porte and Thomas. But it's home-rider Tony Gallopin bringing a long escape home after a brilliant descent in the last 25 kilometres. Bad luck for SKY with both Porte and Thomas hitting the tarmac just when they had Kwiatkowski down. Gallopin is in the yellow jersey for tomorrow´s closing time trial.Read more »
Cimolai wins, strong king of the mountains De Gendt
Stage 5 in Paris-Nice takes the riders in 192 kilometres to Rasteau. Thomas De Gendt is on the attack again. He brings home all KOM points today and almost makes it to the stage win. In the last few hundred metres the pack gets him and Cimolai powers to victory in the uphill bunch sprint. Kwiatkowski retains the overall lead.Read more »
Porte takes stage, Kwiatkowski leader
Stage 4 is the longest and most hilly in Paris-Nice 2015. With Thomas De Gendt on a successful attack the whole day to take the polka dot jersey, SKY takes control on the 10 kilometres closing climb. Richie Porte and Geraint Thomas finish one and two, with Kwiatkowski 8 seconds down on the men in black. The Pole regains his yellow jersey.Read more »
Power-win by new leader Michael Matthews
Stage 3 in Paris-Nice takes the riders in 179 kilometres through the heart of France from Saint-Amand-Montrond to Saint-Pourçain-sur-Sioule. Gilbert is alert on the climbs and takes the polka dot jersey, but the big man today is Michael Matthews. He powers to the stage-win and takes the yellow jersey also.Read more »
