Giro Donne 2022: Labous wins at Passo Maniva, Van Vleuten keeps maillor rosa

Race report
The breakaway features Arzuffi, Cecchini, Ducuara, Fahlin, Harvey, Labous, Lutro, Patiño, Ragusa, Rossato, Teruel, Tonetti, Vallieres and Williams. The fourteen carve out a lead of roughly 10 minutes.
The gap has fallen to 2 minutes at the base of the finish climb. Juliette Labous is the only remaining attacker with 7.5 kilometres to go.
Labous' lead hovers around 2 minutes during the entire climb. Which is enough for the stage victory.
Van Vleuten puts pressure on her GC rivals in de last kilometre. Cavalli is the first to drop behind before García can't follow in the last few hundred metres of the climb.
