Giro 2022: Favourites
fotobureau Cor VosAfter three weeks of action, the 2022 Giro d'Italia saw Jai Hindley climb into pink in the last mountain stage. Moreover, the Australian took the Blockhaus stage. Arnaud Démare won three stages, Koen Bouwman took two plus the maglia azurra, while Simon Yates triumphed twice also before he was forced to pull out with a knee injury.

Puncher in pink
The opener of the Giro is tailor-made for a bunch sprint. That is, if the finish would be 5,6 kilometer earlier. The climb to Visegrád Citadel makes it a treat for punchers.
