Friday, May 9 – The 2014 edition of the Giro d'Italia will begin in the city of Belfast, Northern Ireland. Stage 1 is a 21.7 kilometre team time trial. The stage finishes in the city centre.

Saturday, May 10 – The 2014 Giro d'Italia remains centered around Belfast. Just like yesterday’s team time trial, stage 2 starts and ends in the Northern Ireland capital. A longer day in the saddle in store however with 219 kilometres to cover.

Sunday, May 11 - The third and final stage of the Giro’s Irish holiday starts in the town of Armagh in Northern Ireland. The riders face 187 kilometres in the saddle before a likely bunch sprint in the streets of Dublin.

Tuesday, May 13 – Riders resume the 2014 Giro after their stint in Ireland just above the heel of the Italian boot in Puglia. Stage 4 is a flat 112 kilometres between Giovinazzo and the city of Bari. The first real hills begin tomorrow....
