Eneco Tour 2015 Stage 3: Boonen wins in home country

Stage 3 in the Eneco Tour takes the riders in 172 kilometres from Beveren to Ardooie and it's there good old Tom Boonen blasts to victory in the bunch sprint. Young Dutchman Jesper Asselamn holds on to the leader's jersey, albeit with a 1 second margin. (Slideshow route/profile)

Race report
Once the flag is dropped Edward Theuns, Frederik Veuchelen and David Boucher escape to race to a maximum advantage of 4 minutes. Their party is over with 20 km's left and from that moment on it's all systems go for a third bunch sprint in the Eneco Tour 2015.

Tom Boonen outpowers his competition, besting Démare and Viviani.
