World Cycling Championships 2016 Doha, Qatar: Favourites ITT – men
A flat route at 40 kilometres is the battle ground for the individual time trial at the Worlds in Doha. Is Rohan Dennis going to take his first rainbow jersey, or will it be Tom Dumoulin? Recently, Rohan Dennis showed he is the man to beat. In the Eneco Tour he was in a class of his own until an unfortunate crash in the last stage caused his GC ambitions to turn sour. Yet, he was the best in the ITT with only Jos van Emden somewhere near, but all other favourites were nowhere to be seen. The route in Doha is four time as long, which could be good news for the likes of Tom Dumoulin and Tony Martin.
