Vuelta Femenina 2024 Route stage 1: Valencia TTT
Sunday 28 April - La Vuelta Femenina starts with a team time trial on a circuit south of Valencia. The 16 kilometres long route is totally flat.
The starting podium is located in front of the Museo de las Ciencias. Following some twisting and turning in the first few hundred metres, the riders head south on a straight road out of the city. A U-turn after 7.8 kilometres changes the direction, and the riders return on the same road back to the city. The finish is situated near the museum, on Calle de Eduardo Primo Yúfera.
The only intermediate time check occurs at the U-turn, after 7.8 kilometres.
Last year’s Vuelta Femenina also opened with a team time trial. Jumbo-Visma took the win, 1 second ahead of Canyon SRAM Racing. The course was slightly rolling; this time, it’s completely flat.
