Vuelta 2022 Route stage 13: Ronda - Montilla

Friday 2 September - At 168.4 kilometres, the 13th stage at the Vuelta a España travels from Ronda to Montilla. The route is predominantly undulating, while the finale runs false flat uphill.

The roads between Ronda and Montilla are far from flat, but it never gets steep. Moreover, the uphills are realitively short. So the most likely scenario for stage 13 is a bunch sprint in the streets of Montilla.

In last year's Vuelta Fabio Jakobsen sprinted to three stage wins and took home the green jersey, thus completing a impressive comeback to Grand Tour racing after his horror crash in the 2020 Tour of Poland.
