In 2017, Chris Froome completed the Tour de France/Vuelta a España double. He did so against a strong field featuring the likes of Vincenzo Nibali (2nd), Ilnur Zakarin (3rd), Alberto Contador, Fabio Aru, Romain Bardet, the Yates brothers, Wilco Kelderman, Esteban Chaves, and more.
