Race report
The breakaway features Mathijs Paasschens, Sergio Martín, Iván Cobo, Joe Rosskopf, Mikel Azparren, and KOM-leader Ben King. The six extend their lead to almost 5 minutes before the peloton takes control.
King cements his KOM-lead underway and he and Paasschens are the only remaing attackers when they are reeled in with 18 kilometres remaining. Dylan Teuns gives it shot on the last hill of the day before the peloton brings him back inside the last 8 kilometres.
The home straight runs uphill but Jakobsen can't be bothered. The Dutch sprinter powers to an impressive victory, while his team mate Evenepoel, who did a big pull in the lead out, remains in the overall race lead.
