Tour of the Basque Country 2015 Route stage 6: ITT Aia - Aia

Saturday, April 11, 2015 - The Tour of the Basque Country concludes with a time trial in 18.3 kilometres. Start and finish is in Aia. Is Henao able to hold on to his yellow jersey. In 2013 Quintana bested him in the closing ITT and won the race. But more riders are eyeing up the GC win in 2015...

Tour of the Basque Country 2015 Route stage 6: Aia - Aia

An ITT and the Tour of the Basque Country are intertwined in recent years. In 2013, Tony Martin was victorious and Nairo Quintana took the overall by besting Sergio Henao. Last year Martin was fastest as well and Alberto Contador was second, cementing his overall win.

The first half of the route is downhill and the second half is spiced up with two climbs. The last 1.5 kilometers are all uphill. In facte it's up the super-steep Muro de Aia, just like yesterday.
