Tour of Oman: Winners and records
The Tour of Oman has a short history but impressive list of race winners. It's the most hilly of the three February races in the Gulf region so in order to win here riders need to be strong on the climbs. (Slideshow route/profile)

Records in the Tour of Oman
Alexander Kristoff took most stage victories, crossing the line first on eight occasions. André Greipel comes next with five stage wins, while Edvald Boasson Hagen took four stages in Oman. .
Furthermore, Edvald Boasson Hagen did win the points classification in 2010, 2011 and 2016.
Chris Froome is record holder in regard to GC-wins, taking the overall back to back in 2013 and 2014.
