Tour of California 2018 Stage 7: Fernando Gaviria wins last sprint, Egan Bernal takes overall
The Tour of California's final stage travels from Sacramento to Sacramento. Fernando Gaviria pockets his third sprint win of the week, although a photo finish is needed to decide he bests Max Walscheid. Caleb Ewan finishes in third, while Egan Bernal wins the GC.

Race report
Neilson Powless, Mikkel Bjerg, Jonny Clarke and Adam De Vos jump clear at km 15. They race to a lead of 2 minutes, but the gap never truly widens.
With 4 kms remaining the leaders are caught.
Fernando wins his third sprint in one week of racing in California, although the 23-year old German Max Walscheid almost pips him in the last metres. Caleb Ewan comes in third, while Egan Bernal finishes safely in the bunch to pocket the GC.
