Race report
Bert-Jan Lindeman, Willie Smit, Ryan Anderson and Simon Pellaud attack from the gun. They race to a lead of 4 minutes before the peloton takes the reins.
Pelaud goes solo inside the last 9 kilometres, but the main group is close behind and he is reeled in with 6 kilometres to go.
Peter Sagan opens his sprint early, but he has enough juice to outgun Elia Viviani and John Degenkolb on the slightly uphill arrival. The former World Champion is the new leader on GC.
