Tour Colombia 2019Edition 2 of the Tour Colombia starts on Monday 12 February 2019 in Medellín to finish at the same place after six stages on Sunday the 17th. The inaugural race, which was held under the name Colombia Oro y Paz, was won by Egan Bernal. SKY’s golden boy bested Nairo Quintana and Rigoberto Uran on GC, while Fernando Gaviria stormed to three stage wins.

The 2019 edition of the Tour Colombia boasts a formidable line-up. The title defender faces competition by the likes of World Champion Alejandro Valverde, Chris Froome, Julian Alaphilippe, Miguel Ángel López, Esteban Chaves, Rigobert Uran and, possibly, Vincenzo Nibali. The inaugural race will be played out in the Antioquia region of central Colombia.

Medellín is the central hub and a summit finish atop Alto de Las Palmas at 2,527 metres is on the cards.
