Tirreno-Adriatico 2024 Route stage 7: San Benedetto del Tronto - San Benedetto del Tronto

Tirreno-Adriatico 2024 Sunday 10 March - The last stage of the Tirreno-Adriatico starts and finishes in San Benedetto del Tronto on the Adriatic coast. A sprint finish is the most likely outcome at the end of a 154 kilometres long race - hilly in the first part, pan flat in the second.

Although not entirely the same, the route is a spitting image of the final stage of the last two editions. Jasper Philipsen outsprinted Dylan Groenewegen and Alberto Dainese last year, while Phil Bauhaus turned out on top in 2022 ahead of Giacomo Nizzolo and Kaden Groves.

Another sprint finish is next to certain. The riders clip into their pedals in San Benedetto del Tronto to enter the hilly interior. The passage in Ripatransone, after a 3.6 kilometres climb at 4.9%, marks the end of the first part of the race.

A 13 kilometres descent takes the riders down to Grottammare and they enter a pan-flat circuit of 14.5 kilometres. The lap is to be repeated five times.

The first three riders on the line gain time bonuses of 10, 6 and 4 seconds, while the intermediate sprint comes with 3, 2 and 1 seconds.
