Giro Rosa 2021 Route stage 8: San Vendemiano - Mortegliano
The parcours is situated between Venice and Udine, in the eastern part of the Po Plain, altough some say the flatlands of Veneto and Friuli should be considered apart.
The riders couldn't care less - and especially the sprinters. The race is played out on a plain, the course is flat, so this is their moment to shine.
Last year's Giro Rosa saw three sprint finishes. Marianne Vos took two, Lotte Kopecky one.
The riders cross the line for the first time at kilometre 110 before the race concludes with a lap north of Mortegliano.
