Race report
Jelena Eric attacks in the first descent and a group of 26 riders tracks her down. They put 5 minutes into the peloton with all GC favourites.
Four riders enter the finish climb together: Sierra, Stultiens, Tomasi and Borghesi. Stultiens and Sierra push on together in the last 5 kilometres, but they are caught.
While the group around pink jersey Anna van der Breggen gets smaller and smaller, Évita Muzic takes the stage win. The 21-year old French rider wins the group sprint ahead of Niamh Fisher-Black and Juliette Labous.
Van der Breggen finishes with her GC rivals and adds another Giro Rosa win to her tally. Katarzyna Niewiadoma and Elisa Longo Borghini round out the podium.
