Giro Rosa 2016 Route stage 2: Tarcento – Montenars

Giro Rosa 2016 stage 2 Sunday, July 3, 2016 – At 111.1 kilometres, stage 2 in the Giro Rosa leads from Tarcento to Montenars on a flat to undulating course with two climbs in the finale. The first peak is crested with 12.2 kilometres left, while the race offers a summit finish after a climb at almost 6 kilometres.

Following a race on flat to rolling roads the riders are off for an interesting finale. With 12.2 kilometres remaining they are to crest the first peak after a 4.8 kilometres climb at 3.9%, before the closing climb is 5.8 kilometres at 4.7%.

Last year, stage 2 in the Giro Rosa was won by Megan Guarnier.

At the line in Montemars time bonuses at 10, 6 and 4 seconds lay waiting. Two intermediate sprint come with 3, 2 and 1 second each.
