Giro 2021 Favourites stage 13: Sprint in Verona
Stage 13 on the Giro d'Italia is almost 200 kilometres and the elevation gain is 200 metres. So, that's flat. The fast men are ready to go all out in the city of love. (Slideshow route/profile)
Tim Merlier outsprinted the field on stage 2. The Belgian was not in contention in stage 5 as his chain dropped in the last 100 metres before Ewan was in a class of his own in the sprint of stage 7.
Both Ewan and Merlier have left the Giro.
Sagan sprinter to victory on stage 10 after the pure sprinters were dropped in the hilly zone with 50 kilometres out.
