Race report
It takes 40 kms for a successful break away to get clear. Gruzdev, Bono, Gerts and Cortina race to a lead that never exceeds 2 minutes.

With 9 kms to go the escapees are reeled in and the trains kick into high gear. Still, the sprint turns out to be quite chaotic with no train in the superior track. Kittel doesn't bother and powers on to take his third victory in three stages. As a bonus he wins the Dubai Tour for the second time in a row.
