BinckBank Tour 2019 Route stage 3: Aalter - Aalter

Wednesday 14 August - The 3rd stage of the BinckBank Tour takes in a number of loops around Aalter. The route covers 166.9 kilometres.

Aalter hosted multiple starts of the BinckBank Tour, but never before a finish. Let alone a start and finish. As the route is pancake flat, a bunch sprint is the most likely outcome.

The BinckBank Tour moves through Knesselare after 35 kilometres. Bjorg Lambrecht, who tragically died in last week's Tour de Pologne, was born in this small town.

Starting at kilometre 158., the Golden Kilometre serves three opportunities to win time bonuses of 3, 2 and 1 seconds within 1,000 metres. The first three riders on the line take 10, 6 and 4 seconds.
