Abu Dhabi Tour 2017: Caleb Ewan outsprints Mark Cavendish, Rui Costa GC winner

The last stage of the Abu Dhabi Tour is played out in rainy conditions on fast tarmac. After the route takes in 26 laps on the Yas Marina Formula 1 circuit the race end with a bunch sprint. Caleb Ewan outperforms Mark Cavendish and André Greipel, while Rui Costa takes the overall win in the 2017 Abu Dhabi Tour. (Slideshow route/profile)

Race report
Arcas, Dowsett, Konrad, Sveshnikov, Teuns and Valls go on the attack in the third lap. They race to a lead of almost 2 minutes.

With 30 kms to go the last men standing, Dowsett and Teuns, are brought back.

In the bunch sprint Ewan bests Cav and Greipel with a bike-length.
