Race report
Carlos Canal, Angel Madrazo and Joan Bou attacks from the gun. The trio opens up a gap of more than 4 minutes before the peloton takes control.

The attackers are reeled in with 13.5 kilometres remaining.

In the ensuing sprint Fabio Jakobsen outguns Arnaud Démare, while Magnus Cort finishes in third.

Rein Taaramäe retains the red jersey.
