Vuelta 2020 Favourites stage 10: Sprint on tricky home straight

The 10th stage is likely to unfold another sprint finish. Yet, the fast men should take note of the last 2 kilometres. First a section at 5% before last 500 metres are completely even.

The route of the 10th stage is flat in a Spanish way. So, not really flat at all. Two uphill sections inside the last 60 kilometres stand out. The steepest is the Alto de San Cipriano - 4.3 kilometres at 5% -, which continues onto of false flat of some 10 kilometres before the rest of the route is virtually flat.

Sprinters should be able to survive those sections before their teams could reel in the breakaway in time for a bunch sprint in the streets of Suances.

Sam Bennett won the first two sprints at La Vuelta, but he was relegated in the second one - stage 9 -, so he will be extra motivated.
