Stage 4 of the 2016 Vuelta a España the brings a demanding finale. The last 12 kilometres is a two stage 2nd category climb. Who are the major contenders at the second summit finish in two days ? (Slideshow route/profile)

The finish to stage 3 was tailor made for punchers, yet the arrival in San Andrés de Teixido should suit real climbers. That said, are the GC guys going to control the race, or will it be up to the attackers?

Timing is everything. Halfway the 12 kilometres closing climb there is a short drop, so one may argue it's wiser to attack in the last section. Or to wait for a sprint with a select group...

Attackers such as Rein Taaramäe and Moreno Moser will want to show themselves in stage 4 in the vuelta a España.
