Race report
Cristian Rodriguez, Jon Barrenetxea and Txomin Juaristi jump off the front in the first 10 kilometres. The trio carves out a 4 minutes lead before the peloton takes the reins. The breakaway is reeled in with 31 kilometres to go.

Title defender Martínez outguns Vingegaard and Soler in the Laguardia sprint.

In finishing venue Labastida it is Hayer who takes the spoils ahead of Schmid and Aberasturi.
