Tour of Qatar 2014 Results 3rd stage - Michael Hepburn wins
The time trial in 10.9 kilometers on Lusail Circuit is won by Australian Time Trial Champion Michael Hepburn. Niki Terpstra stays in the lead of the GC.
For quite a while specialist Fabian Cancellara was fastest on Lusail Circuit. Then Michael Hepburn and Daniele Bennati came, beating the Swiss with respectively 6 seconds and less then 1 second.
At the intermediate time check Lars Boom proved to be the fastest of all. However, Hepburn’s strong second part of the race was too much for the Dutchman, who had 1 second short at the finish line.
GC leader Terpstra was 8 seconds behind Hepburn, enough to stay upfront.
